Lillian Presthus is a visual artist who lives and works in Bergen. She was educated at the Bergen Academy of Art and Design and the Art Academies in Bergen and Helsinki, specializing in textiles and painting. Presthus has a studio at Fjøsanger, which serves as a rich source of inspiration for her paintings.
In the exhibition "My Colors" at Voss Culture House, she showcases large-format paintings. These paintings have clear references to nature, as well as to patterns and ornaments. Color is extremely important to her expression.
Lillian has an extensive exhibition activity both in Norway and abroad, with solo exhibitions in several Norwegian cities, New York, Berlin, Copenhagen, and Malmö. She has participated in the Autumn Exhibition, a number of exhibitions in the Nordic countries, and has completed public art commissions. Her paintings have been purchased by several public institutions and art collectors.
